Lydiah Nasimiyu Wamalwa is the Founder & Executive Director of EDWAMA Community Based Organisation.
She is a banker by profession, and has over Thirteen years of experience having worked in the banking sector
and Microfinance Institutions. She is also a Humanitarian and her greatest passion is Women Empowerment
and Leadership Programme. She developed this calling while serving at the Bank, where most of her clients
were Women. She believes in Empowering Women in the society to let them freely live their life, give them equal rights.
Alice Amaiza - Vice Board Chair
Alice Amaiza is the Vice Board Chair of EDWAMA Organisation. She is a Psychotherapist at
Holistic Care Mental Health Association, Springfield , Massachusetts USA.
Diana Wamalwa - Board Secretary
Diana Wamalwa is the Organisation's Board Secretary. She is a Medic by profession,
having majored in Community Health Nursing and Counselling. She is in charge of counselling
and guiding traumatized Women, Girls and Young Boys who reach out to us in the organisation
for moral support.
Alice Nasaka - Board Member
Alice Nasaka is the Organisation's Board member. She is a business woman
and also mentors youths.
Keith Amutallah - Board Member
Keith Amutallah is the Organisation's Board Member. He is an IT Specialist and
also represents the youths.
Eng. Peter Wanjala Masinde - Director
Eng. Peter Wanjala Masinde is the Co_Director of EDWAMA Organisation. He is an Engineer
by profession, having majored in Building And Civil Engineering. He sits on several Boards in
the private and public sector as an advisor in the Building and Construction field.
Eddy M. Heggen - Board member
Eddy M. Heggen is a Board member at EDWAMA Organisation. A graduate of Biochemistry,
Pure And Applied Sciences and very passionate about Agribusiness. He is in charge of
researching and advising the organisation on matters commerce in farming, and
farming related activities which is relayed to farmers in the community.
Naomi Bhoke - Board Member
Naomi is a Board member at EDWAMA Organisation. She has held several senior leadership roles in different organisations both private sector and public sector. Naomi has contributed immense support both at the board level giving proper guidance at leadership skills and also at the programmes level in supporting the management in training the staff on human resource capacities.
